    55 Varmageddon/ benchmark?

    Made up a 15 rnds of 55 g Varmageddon with some Benchmark powder.
    Results looked promising.

    3 ,5 round groups at 100 yards.

    23 g benchmark 1.09 MOA
    24 g benchmark .547 MOA
    25 g benchmark .817 MOA.

    Something to work with anyway.

    25g Benchmark

    2: 3106

    4: 3133
    5: 3065

    Try 23.4gr... one hole groups for my BIL

    55gr varmegedon
    Hornady case
    Seller bellot SR primer.
    OAL to 2.262

    Try increasing in .3gr increments and find the sweet spot

    I was having good luck at 24.5, incidentally the same charge weight in IMR 4895 produced similar results. Although I didn’t chrony either load.

    I’m going to do a bit more testing around the 24 g point.
    But if I can keep it consistent at the 1/2 MOA point, I’ll be a happy camper.

    I found 24.5gr hornady brass cci400 loaded to 2.6 worked best for my rifle. Dont have my notes on me but velocity i believe was around 3100. 24"barrel
