    Mechanically very similar. The SU16 and the AR180C use short piston recoil and rotating locking lugs. The bolt and recoil spring assembly would look very very similar. As will a lot of other rifles out there. Its a great design, simple, robust and works good.

    This is great news!!

    Curious as to 2 things:

    1. Can it take aftermarket handguards?
    2. Will the eventual 7.62x39 version take AK or CZ805 style mags?
