    Afternoon John just a couple of questions. Is the grip screw drilled all the way through? And the buffer tube is it milspec or commercial?

    As for grip screw, mine is not. Required a washer to tighten down magpul grip.

    I didn't need a washer to tighten down my Magpul MOE-K.

    Buffer tube is milspec as well.

    My Hogue grip screwed right on. No washer needed.

    Sure hope my magpul grip is out of spec and not my gun. Anyone else able to answer the original Q?

    This is why I was asking about the hole being drilled through.

    In the sample I examined the grip screw hole is drilled all the way through. Buffer tubes are Mil Spec
