As for grip screw, mine is not. Required a washer to tighten down magpul grip.Originally Posted by Martim

Buffer tube is milspec as well.
My Hogue grip screwed right on. No washer needed.
Sure hope my magpul grip is out of spec and not my gun. Anyone else able to answer the original Q?

In the sample I examined the grip screw hole is drilled all the way through. Buffer tubes are Mil Spec
