Has anyone tried the IMI LAR mags? I found that they didn’t drop free and were a bit sticky, but when I inserted an empty mag with the bolt closed, I wasn’t able to pull the charging handle back.
I also notice that the bolt handle was a bit wobbly- is this by design?
Everything seems to work fine with the default mags
- Savage 10FP-LE2A .308; Leupold Vari-X III 4.5x14 Tactical
- Norinco M-14s
- Remington 870 Express
- CZ 452 Std .22lr; 4X Nikon Prostaff
- CZ-75B 9mm
- S&W 586-1
- Henry .22lr Lever Action
- 1953 Russian SKS

My gun came in to Wolverine, but it's waiting to have the barrel swapped out to .300 BO.
I know another guy was doing this himself and was having issues getting it to run.
Any news on this front, and how does this compare with R&D on the 7.62x39 version?
I'm just waiting on a set of lighter action springs that I'm having made. It's damn near running (I'm at 8-9 rounds cycling out of every 10 round mag). The new springs should do the trick. Just have to wait for them.
Hopefully Wolverine knows something I don't and gets yours up and running for you.
John is this the Dog or trials rifle?
On the back of the receiver you have the threaded hole to screw and tighten the adaptor block.
You also have a silver barrel sticking out above it.
Is that some kind of buffer you were experimenting with?
Is that on the production rifles too?
I can't find it anywhere in the manual about any part like that.
Just askin before I try taking off the factory adaptor and fitting a Stormwerkz adaptor on the end.
Loving my new rifle.
Lighter than I imagined.
