We will gear up our production to meet the demand, with any new product there is always an initial high demand and then it falls back to a steady rate, the difficulty now is judging what that rate will be, I think 5 to 10 K per year is very optimistic.

Regardless, with good execution and other caliber options, demand will be there. I'm still bewildered by this development, and very excited for developments in the year to come.

Well Mr. Wolverine I am impressed with the way that you speak well about those who might be seen as opposition, whether that be the RCMP or a competitor. I agreed that negativity on the internet has just gone rampant these days, let’s put an end to that. Nice to see a voice of reason.
And of course I’m excited about the new things you are developing.
You have gained a new customer here for life.

I do think the demand in year 1 is going to be at least 5k then tapering to 1-2k per year afterwards.

I think that due to affordability and the fact that a lot of shops are ordering them already, there will be a high demand for these for the foreseeable future.

Will the prototype be available for viewing by those making the pilgrimage to the store?

I might find myself in Brandon in a week or two...

As for the NR Tax, our price is plus tax! I jest. The vast majority of the time accusations of a NR Tax are completely unjust. We have been accused of them in the past, but our retail price is determined firstly by our cost.

Right now Maccabee Defence is been accused of charging this tax which in my opinion is completely unfounded. Maccabee did not have the luxury of copying a simple design like us, their R&D costs would have been higher, they ran bigger risks and their specialist market is much smaller than ours. People should remember that before attacking them, I wish them every success, they deserve it, I am confident that their SLR will provide great value for money.

This is not aimed at you "tootall", but why are Canadian gun owners so negative towards one another and so quick to attack, no wonder we can never have a united front when required. Anyway that is my sermon for this Sunday.
