I voted AK mags all the way!
Make a pistol version and then use whatever magazines you want to.
Ultimately A full second rifle that accepts AK Magazines- But allow the upper to transfer to the 223 version and reliably cycle with Stanag Magazine.
The rifle is inexpensive already! So unless a simple conversion kit is going to be under half the price of a full rifle, then I'd rather just have a second rifle.
