Parcels are sent via Canada Post and include $100 insurance and signature required. Extra insurance is available at extra cost to you per Canada Post $2.20 per $100 optional.

The auction ended when I called it a night. The price for the 308 and 223 will stay at $995.00.

Seems like a gimmick sale. Reverse auction with reserved selling price(not mentioned). You guys are better than that.
Money isn't everthing. It's just something needed to purchase anything.

This is the first reverse auction that the firearms price reached the point of break even. These two firearms will likely be returned to the distributor. If you know a lefty looking for a great deal on 2 very nice firearms let them know.

I have to agree. Sorry Western Metal but poor business practice IMO. If you go down that road, take the loss if that is what it takes or don't start the game.

Live and learn. I had a major hunting shop for years. Taking a loss is sometimes justified if it's not moving. Businesses need cash flow and not everything generates a profit. Never make a customer feel slighted.

Then don’t call it a reverse auction. That would imply the price is lowered incrementally until it’s sold.

If I was a lefty, I may have jumped on this. Too late now.

Instead of a reverse auction why not just post the MSRP, the current price and say "Make a reasonable offer" rather than a confusing reverse auction with a hidden reserve?
