Dumb question, how does one compare the sparc to this?

On the 3Gun show episode 173 they interview one of the guys from Vortex and he calls this “the Sparc killer”. He talks about how the rotary dial is cheaper to make than the Sparc push buttons but that the quality is equal to the Sparc.

Note that these use a CR 2032 battery unlike the Sparc AR red dot which uses an AAA battery

I was going to pick up at least one on monday, but the price went up. Still a good price... but pre-sale frenzy increased desire for greater profits I suppose.
