    I am totally confused. 917 is the same as 92 frame wise, but have shorter slide. 917 takes 92 mags (same frame). 92c is a different gun with smaller frame like on the picture above and single stack 13 round mag.

    So, can you please check if you have 917 or 92c for sure?

    From what I have been reading, the 917 has the same grip length and takes the same mags as the full size 92 but has a shorter barrel. The compact has a shorter grip a Simon shows and takes a different mag. There are a few different varients. Very good reviews on these Taurus, but I can't afford both right now so hoping to snag a beretta 92 inox! Really like the polished finish on some of these.

    Yes it looks like the 917 is like the beretta 92 centurion

    PT92c was a carry gun, so it was probably carried by secret service or undercover... interesting find

    but still in great shape
