if so, are we going to see this pistol make it up here?
its been over a year since it was released and i have yet to see them.
if they have made it up can you point me to where they would be for sale at, ive searched high and low.
    thanks for the help.

Unfortunately, these are not available to order due to the lack of Canadian-specific product code from the manufacturer. We don't have an ETA of when it will be available.

is this a usual thing for S&W?
to leave items out of their Canadian catalog that their distributors can order?
or are we talking about a oversight that just needs to be fixed?

Yes, generally speaking due to difference in laws & regulations, most manufacturers create country specific SKUs in order to differentiate differences in barrel lengths, magazine capacities, etc.

what can be done to rectify this?
calling S&W and asking them to letting them know there is a demand for these from a customer so they add it to their list of SKU's for the Canadian marketplace?
so should i call or is that a distributor talking to his product rep thing?

I was looking at those 2.0. Must be good pistols but there's too much stuff on top of frame to my taste. What are those cut-out above the rail?
Why is the disassembly lever so big?
    It's a pistol, not an Honda dash-board!

I wish I had the option of a 5" slide when I bought my 2.0 I would have preferred that over 4.25.
