There was a mix up at the factory , wrong stocks or something to do with them wasn't right .

Why is it registered restricted when they are non restricted. Did you put a different stock on it? With the pic you added, makes total sense now.I got one from the last batch they brought in, by far one of my favorite guns to bring to the range.... yes its registered as a restricted shotgun

I don’t think the MCS forend will fit the 8.5”
It was designed to work with the 10” barrel.
You might be able to modify it though...
