Cadex chassis /Savage 10 TR bolt release help

Hey folks it’s Sunday and I need some info.
Tryed google , no help there.

So, I just installed my field strike chassis on my Savage 10 TR.
    Looks good
But I can’t remove the bolt.
    Did I miss a step?
    Any advice would be appreciated.

I’m guessing it has something to do with the bolt release button, on the original stock.

    Thanks

I'm guessing it's bottom bolt release?

    Ya it’s bottom bolt release.
I can’t see anywhere that you could add one.

Can't believe Cadex didn't think about the bolt release in their design.... IMO, I would send them an email before doing any permanent modification on a $$$ chassis

Maybe they have, and I’m just missing something?

You just put something through the trigger guard to slide the bolt release backwards. I use a small flathead screwdriver on my MDT. MDT puts a slot in the side, where Cadex allows room to get at it through the trigger area.
