That guy is a special breed... I would be calling him every day to protest his comments he made in the house of comments re gun owners as disrespectful and disgusting.
Government is a broker in pillage, and every election is sort of an advance auction sale of stolen goods. HL Mencken. 1919.

Will that number get us in touch directly with a person, or is it an automated voicemail thing?

    It depends.
Some have reported today talking with a person.
Others have reported today leaving a message.
Others have reported today that their voice mail is full.
Another said it rang and rang and eventually hung up with a "your call can not be completed"

Just called. 12:06pm PST. “Your call could not be completed.”

    Stay classy Government of Canada.

Will try again in a bit.

[Edit: I just got through. 1:10pm PST. Polite fellow answered and said he can “pass that message along to Mr. Goodale.”]
