Thank you for sharing the email that you sent to the Prime Minister.
Conservatives will never support legislation that targets law-abiding firearms owners and treats them like criminals.
Bill C-71 legislation does nothing to address violence in urban and rural communities. Instead, it is a back door attempt to bring back the wasteful and ineffective long-gun registry.
Canada’s Conservatives believe that the safety of Canadians should be the number one priority of any government. We will continue to fight for concrete actions to keep Canadians safe and focus our efforts on the criminal element behind firearms violence.
I would be interested to read any response you may get from the Prime Minister, if you would be so inclined to share.
