I have a couple of the new shorter 308 10rd magazines, and am having the darnedest time using them. Getting all 10 rounds in it is tough, the last round is really tough to fit in. And once I have them in, cycling the bolt to load the first round is impossible. The resistance to feed the round is so hard, I have to download to 9 rounds, and even then the first round is reluctant. I have been using regular Accurate-Mag 10 rounders without issue, but have caught the mag on barricades before, so was hoping to have more clearance with these shorter ones.
Any tricks I could try, maybe a light sanding of the feed lips, or cut a bit off the spring?
