I’d like one with forward assist. I’ve shot over 20k rounds and never had to use one on an AR but it’s just something about sticking it to the liberals and saying HA look what I’ve got in my hands an AR15 clone out here in the bush!

And that, my friend, is worth the extra $1-200 in my books.

So far, the arguments for adding a forward assist are pretty substantive.

No forward assist, gun looks better without them. And I have never needed it, and will never.

Grew up playing counter strike, the forward assist was the most intriging part of the M4. Can't imagine an AR without it!

    Wrong side I know

Hey, if I was in early, on the lower, will I keep my place in line on the uppers?

Or do I have to do the Email method again?

We will be emailing everyone who has a lower on order when we get closer to starting on uppers. Depending on how many of each are requested meaning F/A versus no F/A will determine which goes into production first. Also with the number of guys wanting multiple uppers once we email you you can confirm quantities.

Hey folks, I've created a group on Facebook called ATRS Modern Sporter Builders, for everyone to go in and blab about their builds and what not.

This may be a dumb question but bear with me as I am new to guns and new to AR15’s. Is it a standard measurement from center of barrel to the rail on the top of upper receiver. I am trying to get an idea of what parts I want to get. For example does a Maple Ridge Handguard fit on the modern sporter so that the top rail is the same height as the rail on the upper. Also as I understand it the modern sporter takes all ar15 parts with the exception of some trigger groups.

Hey,ive wondered that as well, but all the handguards I’ve used on my AR 15 have lined up with the upper rail.
    So I’d have say,yes, they’re Standard.

And I do believe all triggers and other parts are interchangeable.
