Now if they made it with an optional French walnut stock, they'd have something!

I don't usually get hard for modern hunting rifles but that is one sexy, beefy looking tank of a rifle.
    Very nice...

Looks a lot like the Merkel to me....
Canada Post will only insure firearms that are shipped in a hard plastic case with a lock on it. Cost is $2.75 for every $100 of insurance. I will not assume any responsibility for loss or damages by Canada Post. All items are sold AS IS and do not come with any warranty. Payment required within 24 hrs of your commitment to purchase or item will be sold to another member.

"the whole package" my arse, missing most fundamental parts to be as claimed.
    Where are the sights?

"It brings together all the essentials for hunting in the best possible way and does not include anything that isn’t necessary in the field."

Really, does it come with mounts and rings and scope?

It's a run of the mill synthetic hunting rifle, it's a play for market share from a name synonymous with much higher end offerings. Sub $1000 hunting rifles are becoming a crowded market segment, but its not a reinvented wheel or anything to sit on a long waiting list for.
