I just put in an order for an NP3 Raptor, many thanks! I've been trying to get my hands on one for months!

aww nuts, I finally caved and bought one just like last week, happy enough with the colour way I went with that I'm not going to complain though I probably would have grabbed some of the restocked magpul parts in the same order if I'd have waited. Can definitely agree with srnm the Raptor LT's feel great.

I’ve always run stock charging handles, can u explain to a newb what makes these better? Smoother? Lighter? They definitely look good but why swap out?

The regular Raptor is machined entirely of 7075. The LT uses polymer overmold in the "paddles" in conjunction with aluminum, which is why the charging paddles are "filled in" on the LT, but have a hole in the middle on the regular version. The LT ends up being lighter on account of the polymer, as well as cheaper because there's less intricate aluminum machine work.

Better material (stronger), better general design (internal mechanism makes it ambidextrous), better general handle design (more area to grab, better shape, can be "bladed" with your palm). Looks good!
