Got to shoot with one of these about a month ago. Very effective. Target was at 650m and you could easily see the light to signify a hit. Very good for heavy steel targets at distance when they may not move or could be too hard to hear a hit.
Wonder is some strong magnets would hold it on the gong. Would make it easier to apply to different gongs without replacing velcro.
Gun control means using BOTH hands
We picked up 6 of these for our 3gun league. Greatest thing since sliced bread.
It is important to test target proximity to each other and sensitivity settings to prevent false readings. This is all easy enough to do.
How visible would this be at 1500-1800 yards through a scope/spotting scope?
At 1500, you might need a spotting scope. We tested them in super visible in bright daylight out to 500 meters and had no problems spotting the flash.
