Got to use some of these at a CRPS match today. They lit up no problem with .22lr hits at 300m. I was quite impressed.

    Two questions:

    1) How many velcro patches does the kit come with (I have two steel targets that I`d like to use it with)?

    2) I couldn't see the replacement plastic part that *could* eventually need replacing due to low hits (I know its designed to last as long time, is self healing etc) - are these available and if so how much?
It comes with 2 velcro patches.
It comes with 2 self healing flexible rubber reflectors.

Got to shoot with one of these about a month ago. Very effective. Target was at 650m and you could easily see the light to signify a hit. Very good for heavy steel targets at distance when they may not move or could be too hard to hear a hit.

Wonder is some strong magnets would hold it on the gong. Would make it easier to apply to different gongs without replacing velcro.
Gun control means using BOTH hands

From other videos I have watched this isn't fool proof. Eventually the magnet will either release or slide off the gong. Velcro is cheap and we will bring some extra on our next order.

We picked up 6 of these for our 3gun league. Greatest thing since sliced bread.

It is important to test target proximity to each other and sensitivity settings to prevent false readings. This is all easy enough to do.

How visible would this be at 1500-1800 yards through a scope/spotting scope?

I was hoping someone would chime in (maybe they will) with personal experience. Judging by the brightness of the unit I believe you could see it easily at that distance through a spotting scope.

At 1500, you might need a spotting scope. We tested them in super visible in bright daylight out to 500 meters and had no problems spotting the flash.

    Here's 200 and 300 meters.

Great video. If you have any where you don’t zoom in the picture please post them too.
