Hey Omer~any word on varmint-weight/heavy barrels? Anything on smaller centerfire calibers like .223, .204Ruger?

We just received more M18's in .308 and there are two left that are up for grabs!

    Model# Product Price
    M180308 Mauser M18 308 Win. $899.00

We have also receive field reports from customers who just purchased these rifles and they easily deliver 5-shot, sub-moa accuracy with quality factory ammunition! Looking forward to hearing what the handloaders are able to achieve!

Here are my first 7 shots Omer. Federal Premium 165gr, Leadslead,100 yards, perfect conditions.
Boresight then shoot #1. Readjust, shoot # 2. Readjust, shoot 3-7. Exceptional fit/finish. Excellent rigid stock with great ergos and grip panels. Smooth solid action. I honestly can't find any faults. I am very impressed with this bargain hunting tool. Thank you for making these available to us and for your excellent service.

Bought the .308 M18 had a difficult time finding zero at 100 because I didn't bore sight (20 MOA rail vs 0 MOA) but once I got it dialed in with 168 Finocchi it had eight rounds about 3/4 of an inch at 100 yards. My only comparison for it is the Remington 700 AAC-SD in .308. I think the action is way smoother in the M18. The M18 had no double feeds. The trigger on the Mauser M18 is super light the polymer does flex a bit but is by far the best trigger I have felt, super crisp. On a no wind day we were hitting 350m on a 3/4 IPSC torso reliably using a sandbag for a bipod.

Also, shout out to Precision Optics They were fantastic to deal with!

    !!!

I don't think you can ask for better performance out of a sub $1000 rifle. In fact, that outperforms rifles 3 to 4 times the price. Thank you for taking the time to share the range report, and the pictures!

    Happy shooting!

There are no plans for heavy barrel models in the near future. For the current year, Mauser plans to expand the caliber offered in the M18 to .243, 270 win, 30-06, 7mm rem mag, and 300 win mag - these are available for pre-order.

Let's hope that Mauser continues to develop this line, as the initial reports have been consistently excellent!
