    Cool Matrix Aerospace M762-D Receiver Sets for non-restricted AR-308 builds

    New to the Canadian market in March 2020, the Matrix Aerospace M762-D is a special 308-size AR platform designed for non-restricted (FRT # 195761) firearms. Your dream build begins here.

    Features:
    • Semi-automatic AR-10/AR-308-style lower receiver
    • Machined from 7075 T-6 forged aluminum
    • Uses common DPMS AR-308 parts, except the takedown and pivot pins which are slightly different (included) and the bolt catch screw which is slightly different (included).
    • Optimized for Magpul PMAGs.
    • MIL-A-8625F Type III Class 2 hard black anodized
    • Receiver made in the USA
    • Upper receiver weighs 311g
    • Lower receiver weighs 362g
    • (Total receiver weight 673g or 1lbs 7.7oz )


    Compatible with:
    AR-10/AR-308-size setups such as .308 WIN or 6.5 Creedmoor
    AR-308 handguards with DPMS 16tpi threads and the 'high' rail

    I already have a Stag 10, I want to buy this to be able to interchange between uppers and lowers. My question is, is this compatible to the Stag 10 Upper/lower?

    MRA posted they have an upper that is interchangeable with both Stag and Matrix so I assume that means yes

    got my blem kits in the mail today. put it together thisaft. color me impressed. lots of places for upgrades but as it is a compleatly functional rifle

    Other than the stock and hand guard, how is the rifle?
    Is the hand guard from MRA?
    I am thinking of getting one. My first modern rifle. Any tips on what tools to get. I have a torque wrench, (mechanic by trade) so I believe assembly should not be to complicated.

    The handguard is from an American OEM.
    The rifle overall is very competent, mid-range quality barrel and BCG.

    How does the weight of these receiver sets compare to others like the stag? I have a lightweight ar308 build in mind.

    For $550 stripped receiver set, id spend the extra 100 buck and get a complete Stag 10 receiver set
