    If you want to tighten up the lever, try popping out the pin and adjust the nut position on the threads.

    Pin was glued in...nut also glued. I'll give it another try tonight...trying not to mark up finish.

    Well, got it apart. Ended up putting a washer between the lever and the not. Not only tightened it bit now its a lot smoother to operate.
