    Carbine folder ETA?

I was wondering if there was any info available on the Gen 2 AR folding stock adapter you guys were talking about last year? Does this unit lock closed? ETA? Any details would be greatly appreciated.

We hope to have the fixed to fixed version of the folder for sale in 4-6 weeks. This will not lock closed but we have a version that will lock closed coming out at the end of the summer

Cool! Is there a detent on the folded position or does it swing freely?

The first version that is going to be available in the next 4-6 weeks will lock when ready to fire but won't lock when folded. The version that will lock open and closed should be available toward the end of summer.

If you got the 1-way locking folder, it is shipping now. The two-way locking will be shipping by the end of the month.

Am I correct in assuming that we will be able to use these with the WK-180 in the proper configuration?

Yes, they will work because they have an internal buffering system.

Got my rifle fixed to fixed adapter earlier this week. Looked great, beautiful machining, locked up right. Took it to the range for some load development. Went to unfold the adapter and it felt sticky. I depressed the button a little further and wiggled it and gently tried to open it. I heard a pop and the pot metal spacer failed. The adapter is now NFG and no longer functions - waiting to hear back to hear back from MDT ( who are great and I'm sure will make it right) but after hopping on the pre sale and waiting for almost a year needless to say I'm really disappointed.
