Being a little over-dramatic, no? Love him or Hate him, hes hardly going to tear the country apart.

Liberal results in the polls are on the up-swing again after they dropped hard due to the India Trip. It might be a close race, but to count him out already is not going to help the Conservatives win.

If I had any money, I'd be interested in an 858 at sub-$900.

"The Conservatives will nix the bill if it becomes law" - when?

I wish I had your optimism since I have an 858 but have you seen what a mess the Liberals are making of every file they touch?

Economy, carbon taxes, pipelines, foreign relations, Indigenous issues, US relationship ............... you get the idea.

If the CPC get elected and if they have a majority and if a plurality of seats are from gun friendly ridings and if there is a champion for our cause in the Cabinet then restoring the privilege to shoot one of those hated assault rifles like any other firearm might be number 858 on their bucket list.

Or else I hope that you know something that I don't.
Let's follow the USA example: https://project2025.afsp.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Toolkit_Safe_Firearm_Storage_CLEARED_508_2-24-20.pdf

At 875,- shipped I would buy one, non restricted in VGC/BNIB condition. It would be my first rifle of type.

I'd be into NR 858 for $875 if you had one.
