    I guess, $1 shipped from US store to Canada warehouse. And then we need to pay GST and shipping to our address.

    Yes... Normally you pay US$25 to ship the item from Arizona to Canada... Then you pay GST and actual shipping from Alberta to you... Kinda sucks, but they have great prices and access to products we don't otherwise get.
