Hello, is this the Colt Classic Reissue Nam style M16A1?!
Judging from the 3 prong flash hider I would say M16E1. A fine looking rifle.
Did some research and googling I think it’s safe to say this is the M16A1.
According to Colt the three prong flash hider is put there deliberately instead of the birdcage because that’s what the majority expects. I’m fine either way it’s a cool rifle!

They start at about $15,000.00 USD and are prohib here. This is about the closest we should expect to owning an orignal.
