    Colt Diemaco SA20

The Diemaco rifles are built at the Colt Canada facilities in Kitchener, Ontario to the same exacting standards of quality as our military and law enforcement products. These rifles will bring MILSPEC quality and safety to Canadian shooters along with the Maple Leaf roll stamp and the iconic Diemaco proof mark that are recognized around the world.

The SA20 is the civilian version of the C7A2, currently in service with the Canadian Forces. The SA20 rifles have all the same features as their military counterparts except they are manufactured to be semi-automatic only. These rifles were made as part of the initial 30th Anniversary Limited Edition run.

The Diemaco SA20 features a cold rotary hammer-forged heavy barrel with a 1:7" twist and chambered in 5.56 NATO. It comes with an A2 flash hider and fixed front sight, M4 feed ramps, bayonet lug, 6-position collapsing stock with non-slip rubber butt pad, ambidextrous fire controls and sling plate, integrated sight rail, Colt/Troy backup rear sight, and MILSPEC internal components.

So are these marked SA20 receivers like the anniversary ones? Says they are part of the same run so they have older serial numbers?

These were $2,099 when they were first introduced in 2014. Inflation I guess.

Buddy who worked at the LGS told me they weren't selling, but it wasn't the retailers fault because they didn't set the price, and they barely made any money off the $2,099 sticker price anyway.

Not long after, the MSRP was dropped to $1,799, but even then, it took a while to sell out the 980 "limited edition" rifles (490 SA15.7s and 490 SA20....Colt Canada supposedly kept 10 of each rifle for themselves).

I think the IOP was $1,500, but I haven't heard of an IOP on this batch of limited editions.
