So does not apply when fixed OAL is shorter straight out of the manufacturer.

    Youza.
So would this not apply to putting a pistol grip on a short shotgun bringing it under 660mm?

Manufactured. From factory. But that said the RCMP sometimes decides that a short offering is a pistol

This, but unfortunately for them a bullpup has a fixed stock integral to the design that cant be over looked which makes it impossible to be determined as a pistol.

1 why would remington canada aka gravel agancy import a keltec?
2 the US DOJ are not allowing any shotguns or shot gun bbls below 18inch exported out of the US for Civie sale
3 if a firearms is 26.6 inch total lenght as its smallest and it comes with a "factory" bbl that less then 18 inch it is legal.

Good catch Simon. I meant Vault, and for somereason typed Gravel.

IRG can export Serbu super shorties, so I doubt these are off limits.

Think your SOL on the tactical model 26"/ 660mm is the shortest OAL allowed. The Tactical would be a prohib at 21.4 the 26 is pretty short and holds more anyway.

I don't know if you can get a restricted SG below that measurement or not. I thought prohib. My buddy took his regular KSG to the range and they made him put it back in the trunk.Said it was to short

Only if it telescopes, folds, or by other means becomes shorter then 660mm. If it’s factory and doesn’t adjust is can be shorter then 26”.

"Restricted firearms include: handguns that are not prohibited; semi-automatic, centre-fire rifles and shotguns with a barrel shorter than 470 mm; rifles and shotguns that can be fired when their overall length has been reduced by folding, telescoping or other means to less than 660 mm"

KSG is not or does none of those things. Therefore not a prohibited or restricted firearm. Same as the ranch hand that are 24" and NR.

As already mentioned in my OP, these already have a NR FRT!

I sold my KSG and always regretted selling it. I'd definitely be in for getting one of these
