    Only LE, verifiers, and foreign agencies whom pay for access can view the database.

    Pretty slimey when you know that these classifications are paid for by our tax dollars and are treated as law.

    That's ridiculous. How can you know the "official" classification of a firearm if they keep the classification a secret?

    F.R.T. is Not a secret in the least bit at all. You have to be in the firearms business to access it as far as I know. Which we do.

    Not a secret, no, but it should be a publicly available resource givens it is a tool that is used to apply the law.

    Except the FRT isn't law. And an FRT entry doesn't classify a gun. The firearms act does. Nothing else.

    And unposted speed limits are set by law as well.

    So not the same.
