    Canada's shortest NR firearm: Keltec KSG Tactical - 13.7" Barrel, 21.4" OAL.

    Restricted firearms include: handguns that are not prohibited;
    Not a handgun. Check.

    semi-automatic, centre-fire rifles and shotguns with a barrel shorter than 470 mm;
    Not a semi-auto. Check

    rifles and shotguns that can be fired when their overall length has been reduced by folding, telescoping or other means to less than 660 mm
    Doesn't fold or telescope. Double check.

    NON RESTRICTED FRT ALLREADY EXISTS YOU NAY SAYERS.

    I have had 4 Keltecs (2 KSG's, and 2 RFB's), all function 100% if I didn't make an operator error.

    INCORRECT

    18.5" rule only applies to semi-auto center fires!

    As this is a manual action, only the minimum OAL applies. Since it does not have a folding/collapsible stock, even the OAL does not apply. This falls into the same category as Ranch hands which are below 26" OAL.

    But I guess the many many many NR short barreled rifles and shotguns that have short barrels are not OK. ....
