The Sidewinder - an AR buffer tube folding adapter

Just released today! Ready to ship!

The Sidewinder is an AR buffer tube folding adapter. Note -- it works with AR buffer tube threads, NOT AR-rifles. There are a multitude of possibilities though. It's compatible with Chassis Systems, shotguns, Scorpions, Vectors and other rifles/pistols that accept AR buffer tube threads.

We made it in Canada. It's lightweight, strong and reversible -- you can fold it in either direction and it'll stay ultra-solid.

Lots of questions are coming in about why this won't work with your AR. The Firearms Blog did an article today, and it sums it up nicely!

Cool. What’s the overall length when folded on that 14” 870 in thr picture? Long enough to keep it legal would be great.

That configuration would be restricted, as it's less than 26".

would this work on a Troy PAR as it does not have a moving buffer tube spring?
Life is not that complicated. You get up, you go to work, eat three meals, you take one good shlt and you go back to bed. What’s the fvcking mystery?! - George Carlin

    I'd say it would fit.

Hera Arms makes a similar unit called the Side Folding Unit. I had one on a BlackFeather M305.

If your PAR is for hunting, then you need to think if you want to add more weight to your rifle. All the little trinkets add up!

As long as nothing needs to move rearward of the receiver, into the buffer tube, then the Sidewinder will work!
