Interesting- if you read through their model notes on the FRT, it sounds like they were reviewing a 180-C lower with an OEM Armalite upper installed on it

One non related question, doesn't armalite hold some kind of patent on the AR180B design? How do you guys get around that?
patents only last for 10-20 years. Then it all open.

The classification applies to the rifle. The rifle is non-restricted regardless of the magazine attached to it.
Is there any point in -1 or -2 for different magazines? I suppose the RCMP want to cover all variations.
Odd that they don't have -3 when a LAR 10 round magazine is attached...
