I hope to be testing the 16" x 1/2" target I got from you against .50BMG soon, 500-600 yards will likely be the min distance, I know it's going to swing hard.

Where can I find the BC CFO rules on steel targets?

I would like to know this, too.
A Google search turned up nothing.

1/2" AR500 is the answer to most rifle shooting questions. As my 3/8" targets get chewed up, they get replaced with 1/2" and they will last an awful long time.

Thanks guys for all the inputs. For those who worry about me shooting other people's steel, the whole reason that I'm asking here is because I wanna get one for myself.

1/2" AR500 plates suspended with conveyor belts or seat belts and slightly angled forward (10 to 20 degrees) and it will last for a while.

So I got a chance to take my new steel target to the range last weekend, after about 200 rounds of Chinese surplus 7.62x39 at 100m, the steel held up very well! Aside from the chipping on the edges, which is to be expected, where the rounds impacted there is virtually no damage. I know it's nothing conclusive on this topic, but just want to share my experiences as a data point for anyone who is looking for this info in the future.

Thanks Glenn for the great product and amazing services!
