For anybody who owns these, how are you liking them? I've heard bad things about them due to quality.

I think I'll just buy a second rem 597 off the EE for that price and keep it loaded beside me at the range. Like a 20 round mag but I get a whole brand new rifle.
I love my 597 but that's too steep.
I always wondered why no one locally has produced a decent cheap 20 round stick mag for the 597

I reckon they're a lot more fun to unload than to load.

Just to have a non pinned drum mag is a dream. Might pick one up but I have to find the Marlin first.

    Is the firearm reliable?

I began playing-around with the Marlin 795 after the Crimson Cowboys started playing their immoral-games over the 10/22's magazines; not only does the 795 run very pleasantly , the Promag (yes, Promag) 25-round magazines for the 795 run ridiculously reliably (my only issue was fitting one particularly one into the magazine well)....
But there is only one person that I see on CGN as being truly despicable by every ethical and moral standards and worse: to be dangerous to the community itself, and that's Cyclone the subversive.

Can IRG import these? I recall seeing a post by them about not being able to bring hi cap (over 32rd) mags into Canada anymore. Not sure if that applies to rimfire or not though...

If you need religion to have good morals then you don't actually have good morals.

No one is able to import mags over 32 rnds (even if they are pinned) from the US anymore
Pre-orders are horrible for everyone involved. They never go smooth. We will not be doing a pre-order to bankroll this project.
