However, just want to check the math...if I have $3000 to spend at your store, it looks like I am better off to make three $1,000 purchases (assuming my purchase can be broken down like that), as that will get me $450 in transaction credits, versus making a single $3000 purchase that gets me $400 in transaction credits. Is that correct?

I've never heard of this before, but seems like a neat idea. If anything, you should get a $500 transaction credit to incentivise you to spend $3000 at once. Like you said, the math is in your favor to do 3 transactions of $1000, so I don't know why the $3000 option would give you less of a transaction credit. Actually, there is no incentive to spend $3000, as you would actually be saving less and spending more, haha. Anyways, just my thoughts. Great sale by the way!
