The last batch was only $599.
Doubtful that this was a recent import. Probably been sitting on a pallet for awhile like the 14 inch 870 barrels that have surfaced recently. At a much higher price than a few years ago.

Seems that barrel length is the export issue based on another importers recent thread on the issue. These are likely not recent imports, new OLD stock just bumped up in price.

No mention of “choke” size for the barrel.
Ordered a modified bore in the last batch. But showed up as a cylinder bore. The dealer refunded a small amount of money to me.

I thought they were all cylinder bore! That being said, it would be great to have the option of chokes!

What they both said... I was told a few months ago - while inquiring with people who import - that I could no longer bring in anything under an 18.5'' bbl. They said there was a moratorium in place. Have things recently changed?what he said.

The model shown is a cylinder bore. The shipment 4 years ago came with a heavy walled barrel and the option of a fixed modified choke barrel.
