Regarding receiver sets: They will obviously come with the proprietary takedown pins and detents but I'm just wondering what lpk is required to finish it? Will an ar15 lpk work or do I need an ar10 lpk?

    Thanks

Believe me when I say that I'm asking this purely out of curiosity.

There's a decent price difference between the BCL102 and the Stag-10. Why would Joe blow the gun owner, who's looking for a black NR .308, spend the extra money?

I hardly doubt this means the death of the BCL. But like others have said, the more the merrier! Looks awesome.

Better quality barrel, better furniture, brand name muzzle brake (lantac), nice two stage trigger that doesn't need replacing, a receiver that isn't machined to fit a proprietary handguard, takes standard dpms threaded barrel nuts and handguards (allows for more options), the Stag bcg won't chew gas rings out, the list can go on.....

But most importantly Stag is light years ahead in their QC department. In other words you have very little chance of getting a lemon

I don't see how the Stag could be viewed as being more expensive than the BCL
