    If i swapped the 18" to and 18.5+" on the 308 would I be able to have its status changed to non-restricted?

    Yes, if you were to source the barrel in the US and send it to us referencing your USO will will send them both out with the rifle. The barrel and bolt will require head spacing please keep that in mind.
