    You can always have the muzzle device permanently attached, like welded.

    Then it should count as barrel length and be non-restricted!

    That would be the same thing essentialy and won't fly.

    It needs to be one piece rifled portion including chamber to count for Barrel length

    I believe in canada the chamber counts and not in the usa so a 18inch usa could be a 18.5 canadian ... we might get lucky
