With the cerama coat on the way, and the tools, stock and ambi lower parts kit I picked up yesterday, I have enough to complete my lower.

If it’s not sorted out by Tuesday, we’re just going to start issuing refunds to the effected people.

    Thanks Ryan,

I would sooner have the parts; are they able to come through on the BCL 102s?

It’s nothing to do with production, they are made already and have been for a while. It’s something to do with registering them. I’m assuming they were on an export permit at one time which is causing the issue.

It's time to start a build! First I need to find out what prep work is needed before applying Cerama Coat. Nice that they have the BCL logo and name.🛠Name: 2018-08-04 10.21.40.jpg

Like yours, my upper is already sand blasted; I will be blasting my lower as well to obtain a similar texture. I will be using acetone and a soft natural bristle brush to clean (do this outside with protective gloves that the acetone won't melt). Blow dry, and repeat. Blasting gives more surface area for the Cerama/Cera Coat to adhere to; acetone scrub makes sure there is no oil, dirt or dust that will interfere with the bond.

    That's about it.

Oh, and practice with some cheap spray paint on an object you don't care about, to get multiple thin, even coats without runs. Patience between coats is key.
