BCL AR15 18.6” Stainless Match Barrels

Black Creek Labs is now producing 18.6” stainless fluted match barrels in 556 NATO as part of a new project they are working on. We’ll be posting a listing for them later tonight. They are 100% made in Canada, even the blank used to make the barrel was made in Canada. Retail will be $299 but we’re going to sell them for an introductory price of $249.95.

What do you think?

Wow... they really stepping up their game! I am really pumped... hopefully we will soon see a Non Restricted AR type rifle in .223/5.56 from BCL soon?

Weight?

Twist rate?

Mid length gas system by the looks of it?

BTW, they look awesome and the price is right

Ryan,

The barrel looks good and the price is right but I'm just wondering what bullet weights would be suggested for the 1in7 twist? Would it shoot bulk 55gr well or would it be suited best for heavier stuff? The fastest twist I've used is 1in8

Thanks

The 1:7 twist will shoot anything. You don't need to worry about being able to stabilize any bullet. Mag length is the biggest problem with anything over a 68 gr bullet. The bullet just takes up to much powder space
