I tried a few IMI LAR10 mags. I inserted an empty mag and I could not open the bolt. I haven’t taken it to the range yet, but that is the next troubleshooting step

so need to spend another $500 to make it "work" ? They might as well make a $1500 gun properly working on round 1.

Having trouble removing piston Rod through the gas block. Maybe I'm missing a step, but while I can remove the cup and everything, the tube itself won't slide forward like it said it would on the manual... Any input?

You can push on the bolt side of the gas piston with cleaning rod through the back of the receiver.

I'd rather pay 1000$ for the rifle and have 500$ worth of fun shooting the ammo to make it run flawlessly!!
