The rod at the end of the gas piston broke on mine today
Fired one round and a 3 inch metal rod was sticking out the ejection port
Guess I need to give Kodiak a shout

I find that I cannot remove the piston spring. The piston rod comes out but the spring does not come out. I can clean all the gas parts but it's a bit of a beast to get the spring to line up with the piston when putting it back in.
I'd really like it if the rail came off more easily, I gave up after the thread on one screw was so tight I killed it.
I had the carrier, and bolt go bad. Kodiak (Owen) was excellent to deal with!
Spare parts kits available yet?
Yep, it's like that.....
Calgary shooting center has RWA spare parts kits for the wk180c. I got one.

Really seems like a lot of problems still exist with this rifle, kinda a shame there not 100% yet
Don't get me wrong it is an incredible rifle, but it is a $1100 made in Canada rifle. Compromises had to be made, design features couldn't be included etc. The Canadian market simply doesn't warrant the mass production that AR15s and others can take advantage of.
In my view if you sit on the fence forever waiting for perfection then you're missing out on years of enjoying a highly capable rifle.
