The so called M118LR chamber I'm referring to is the .308/7.62x51 version of the .223 Wylde design.
I thought 308 and 7.62x51 had identical chamber dimensions? (unlike 223/556)

the age old debated question hehehe
I've run nato and commerical 7.62x51/.308 in semi autos for many years now.... I'm sure this rifle will be no different.

My advice is to use the Clymer type M118LR finish reamer and offer these barrels with 2 chamber depths. Finished chambers should headspace out at 1.635" and 1.631".
Myself, I would prefer a tighter, 1.631 finished headspace due to reloading to .308 commercial spec using premium commercial brass.
Those opting for a chamber that will see military/nato brass or surplus ammunition may want that more generous chamber @1.635"
but really I'm no expert with this platform so .....

be cool if a bunch of folks were after a .338 federal barrel as that is what I'm personally in the market for when it comes to this particular build. I know these guys will do it and I've emailed Ryan about it..... but a one off is costly and cheaper if a bunch of people were interested in this caliber in a dpms pattern profiled for weight reduction.

We are thinking of doing some barrels in Cerakote.

What colours would people be interested in?
