I did not order one but was very interested in a 9mm carbine - you essentially agreed to purchase the item at a certain price - in essence you entered into a contract with the seller. Your deposit was your signature on the contract. As the seller it would be better to stick to the original price for the pre-orders. It called business and there are risks involved - in laymans terms if the price of steel went down do you think they would pass on the savings to you? Exactly
waiting to see how this plays out
I placed an order with another vendor with similar terms. When the news of the price increase came out, they promptly called all of the pre-order people and offered a full refund (which I took). What that vendor did was the right thing to do.

Hi Guys,
We've decided to do the same. Customers that pre-ordered before the price change can take their deposit back without penalty if they would like. The ones that did decide to continue with the pre-orders have been informed of the price change. I hope that clears up some issues for some people. Thanks for everyones input in this matter.
