    1963 H&R M-14 Parts Kit

We have the opportunity to purchase an H&R M-14 complete (minus the rear of the receiver of course) parts kit. The rifle is in fantastic shape and is in a factory brown synthetic stock. The real deal M-14, a 12(3) safe queen.

Since we don't normally deal in these I am unsure of the price. I'm sure someone here could help out with some honest advice ? No BS answers of 'I'll give you $5' please.. Pics below :

OK, cool thank you. In that case if anyone is interested in this parts kit please call me at the shop between 8-3:30, M-F.

I will list this kit at $1,000 + actual shipping. Because it is a private sale, no tax. Payment with EMT is preferable unless you are local and prefer cash transactions.

I don't understand why you said this is a 12(3) safe queen. The prohibited receiver has been destroyed, and would require a Norc donor or a US based receiver like LRB or Fulton Armory. This would, in turn, make it a Non Restricted firearm.

Edit: I suppose as it sits before hacking the receiver, it is prohibited. My bad on the jump to conclusion.

Yup, you got it. Always have to work up the nerve to destroy something like this, or deactivate something, that is a little piece of history. We balk at ISIS blowing up things we think are antiques but then our moral superiors in Ottawa tell us to do the same thing with our own history. . .such a bloody shame.

US market? There isn't one. The rifle isn't importable into the US.
