Idk about R-one but S-one needs a hacksaw.

Edit I looked at the R-one, grab a hacksaw also lol

Is there a list of compatible handguards around? I'm guessing none of the aero rails would work then

Anyone able to confirm/deny if the Midwest industries G3 handguards fit the MS or whether they require removing material/anti-rotation tabs?

The Gen3 has anti rotation tabs that need trimming BUT the anti rotation tabs are a separate piece from the handguard so you don't have to cut up the actual handguard.

I however was lucky enough to pick up a long been discontinued Gen2 on clearance from Brownells that doesn't need any fitting. It will be an exact match to my Stag 10 build that I may or may not still own.

Finally fit the Geissele MK14 handguard and the M4A1 RIS II. Both needed a lot of fitting but it was worth it.

Anyone with a slick side or forward assist upper in a big bore caliber that is working yet?

Concerned with the size of ejection port being too small. Real world experience only with a working rifle, thanks
If it's either loud, obnoxious, fast, hated by the general population or any combination of these, I OWN IT!!

I emailed ATTS about this and here the response

“Our standard ejection port size on MS uppers is large enough to fit the big bore cartridges but we have not tested them to see if they will eject properly. That being said, the first several hundred slick side uppers we did had larger ejection ports to ensure they would eject the big bore cartridges. We also did a small number of FA uppers with this larger ejection port. ”

We then went on to making sure I was able to get one of the FA uppers that had an enlarged ejection port for when my order is ready to be shipped out. Give them a shout and see if they’ll help you out! They’re super easy to deal with!

Same response I got, I am looking for some who has a big bore caliber working on either upper.

Physically fitting is different than functioning unfortunately
