Crown land and the range with zero issues to date.
my club is probably cool with it, but the range we go to is full of fudds. I had a fudd approach me about my tavor with a 10 round pistol mag, apparently 10 rounders are illegal in a semi auto. He also didn't like my explanation of why I was wearing my plate carrier (PPE). He seemed flustered when I had an answer. I wasn't nasty or a jerk about it, I just explained why I had what I had and that it was all legal. The cops thought my tavor was cool.
when banjos are outlawed, only outlaws will have banjos

Yes and no, banned means the firearm is written by name in the text of the law, in this case SOR/98-462 (regulations prescribing certain firearms and other weapons, components and parts of weapons, accessories, cartridge magazines, ammunition and projectiles as prohibited or restricted) which named every single firearm to be classified as restricted or prohibited. The OIC was an amendment to that 98 regulation "regulations amending the regulations prescribing certain firearms...." .
The OIC simply amended the regulations by adding to the list of prohibited weapons. The modern sporter is not on that list.
There are only two types of people in this world, those who want to control others, and those who have no such desire. The former is the enemy of humanity.
