    No, generally it will just require a little more care to detail when installing it to ensure proper alignment. After it's aligned, and you confirm it via firing it, then put a little blue loctite on the threads of the set screws one at a time and you're set.

    Magpul offers their grip screw by itself, using one of those with a lock washer from a regular LPK and seems to work fine. Its quite a bit shorter than the one that came in the LPK.

    My grip screw was a little long.

    I threaded a nut on, hacked a couple threads off, and then was good to go.
