    Well, I finally got around to mailing in my upper and barrel to ATRS to install. In a couple weeks Ill finally be able to to test mine out.

    Agreed, I took my pin out and shortened it by .03125in and it fits perfectly now.

    I split two bolt catch roll pins trying to drive them using the wheeler bolt catch roll pin tools. I suspect that the hole may be a tad tight...

    My roll pins also had no issues going in. Did you check to see what size the hole was ?

    hahaha, in this case I cant get enough torque by hand to index the Colt barrel nut properly to get the gas tube in. Other barrel nuts I've done by hand werent traditional style.

    Lapping the Receiver or shims will facilitate correct timing.

    No I would suspect your pins were out of dimension. After seeing what the "other guys" got a ton of flak over we pin gage every hole before the part goes for anodizing and again when it comes back.

    Ive had out of dimension roll pins before, switch to a different roll pin and in it goes. Even after I had one of my lowers cerakoted, I had no problem installing a pin.
